I, [your name] (National ID card [number]), declare that I am the lawful owner of the device described above with IMEI/serial number [IMEI/serial], that it is not stolen, reported lost, blacklisted, under finance or a contract, and that I have the right to sell it. On handover I transfer ownership of the device to Fancytech Online Shopping in exchange for a trade-in credit towards my purchase. I understand the credit is confirmed only after FancyTech has checked the device, my order is dispatched after that check, and if the device does not match my answers the credit may be reduced or the trade-in declined. I will remove all accounts, passcodes and personal data before handing it over. The information I have given is true.

How does trade-in work?

Tell us which device you have and answer a few questions about its condition. You get an instant value, which is added to your bag as a credit code. Choose what you’d like and check out as usual — the credit comes off your order. We dispatch your new item once we’ve received and checked your old device.

How is my device valued?

A device in perfect condition is worth a share of what we sell the same model for today (Mobile Phones up to 50%, iPads & Tablets up to 45%, Laptops & Computers up to 40%, Cameras & Lighting up to 45%, Gaming & Consoles up to 45%, Wearable Tech up to 38%, Audio & Headphones up to 30%, TVs & Entertainment up to 45%). Your answers about the screen, body, battery and anything not working reduce that. Devices that don’t switch on or have had liquid damage get a quote from our team instead.

What do I need?

Your National ID or passport, the device’s IMEI (dial *#06#) or serial number, and your signature on the ownership declaration in the form. A receipt helps but isn’t required.

What can I use the credit on?

Any phone, tablet, laptop, camera, console, wearable, audio device or TV in our shop. The credit can’t be more than those items’ total and isn’t paid out as cash. It’s valid for 14 days, once, with the phone number you gave.

What if my device isn’t as described?

We check every device when we receive it. If it doesn’t match your answers we’ll call you with a revised value — you can accept it and pay the difference, or keep your device and pay the full price.

Is my information safe?

Your ID and signature are stored privately, seen only by our team, used only to confirm ownership of the device, and deleted once they’re no longer needed.
