The instax mini 13 is an analogue instant camera that ejects a physical print after you take a photo. It uses FUJIFILM instax mini Instant Film, which is sold separately. Each finished photo has an image area measuring 62 × 46mm, and FUJIFILM says development takes approximately 90 seconds, depending on ambient temperature.

Set a self-timer for group photos and selfies

Choose between a 10-second timer for group shots or a 2-second timer to help reduce movement when pressing the shutter by hand. The timer lever has an LED indicator, and FUJIFILM says the timer can be cancelled if you change your mind. The included camera-angle adjustment accessory, attached to the hand strap, can tilt the camera upwards for timed photos.

Close-Up Mode and selfie mirror

Turn the lens ring to activate Close-Up Mode for subjects around 30–50cm away. The mode includes parallax correction to help align the viewfinder with the printed composition. Use the built-in selfie mirror to check your framing before taking a selfie.

Automatic exposure and flash adjustment

The camera automatically adjusts settings such as shutter speed and flash brightness to suit ambient light. Its built-in flash fires automatically, with a stated effective range of approximately 0.3–2.2m. Keep in mind that indoor lighting, subject distance and the film can affect the final exposure.
