Smoother handheld phone footage

The DJI Osmo Mobile SE is a handheld smartphone gimbal with 3-axis stabilisation to help reduce camera shake while filming. Its foldable body is designed for carrying between shoots, and the magnetic phone clamp lets you attach or remove a compatible phone quickly. The clamp can also be removed from the gimbal to make it easier to take a call or share your phone.

Follow a subject with ActiveTrack

Use ActiveTrack through the DJI Mimo app to keep a person or other selected subject in frame while you move. DJI also highlights tracking that can recover a subject after it briefly leaves the frame. Tracking performance and available functions depend on the smartphone, camera and app compatibility.

Choose a gimbal mode for the shot

The built-in status panel shows the gimbal mode, battery level and system status. Use the M button to switch among Follow, Tilt Locked, FPV and SpinShot modes. The joystick and zoom slider provide controls from the handle, while the phone can be switched between portrait and landscape orientation.

Make more with DJI Mimo and LightCut

DJI Mimo provides supported shooting tools such as time-lapse, motionlapse, hyperlapse, panorama, gesture control and Story mode. DJI also recommends the LightCut editing app, which offers templates and AI-assisted one-tap editing. App features and camera controls vary with the phone model, operating system and available camera APIs.

Portable design and rechargeable battery

The gimbal weighs approximately 352g, with the magnetic phone clamp weighing approximately 31g. DJI rates operating time at up to approximately eight hours under ideal conditions with the gimbal fully balanced. Charging takes approximately 2 hours and 12 minutes using a 10W USB-C charger. Actual operating time varies with use and setup.
